Leadership in Crisis is our flagship program conducted online for middlemanagers and senior-leaders.

 

The last few months have seen the demand for dialogue around leading in Crisis situations. Rightly so! Not just because of COVID-19, but also with time, we are heading into situations which are likely to turn into crisis. Crisis such as climate change etc. Having said that – Crisis is not new to us.

The program articulates the key requirements for effective leadership during a crisis, and more importantly highlights the necessity of a leadership mindset to extend beyond the immediacy of the crisis to the necessity of imagining a new world of possibilities for the leader and their organization post-crisis.

In the immediacy it requires leaders to understand their own changes and the changes that their employees may be going through. It calls for connecting, understanding, acknowledging, acceptance and regulation of emotions and thoughts are various stages of individual change curve.

 

The program moves from Individual behavior and responses, to group behavior and systems response. it engages the audience in hand-on work on self, which includes self-awareness, Emotional Intelligence, Physiology etc. It focuses on our response to various challenges and stress. The program is rooted in mindfulness, the whole person stress response model which includes action-items around the Mind, Body, Heart and Spirit, to become resilient in the toughest of situations.

Leaders need to help their team members move through the stages, to the stage of purpose led commitment as quickly as possible.

The program talks about the Leadership burden to make their people feel safe as an opportunity. It takes examples from the armed forces and military discipline of many a great organizations. The program focuses on purpose and re-purpose.

The program leverages other ground breaking methods of  AQ, strategic-thinking, pro-active problem solving, mindfulness, destruction and growth mindset.
